HEALTH & SAFETY
For in-person training beginning on October 5th, all cadets, officers, volunteers, and anyone else attending our facilities will be required to follow our safety guidelines. We are still working out some of the finer details, but these will include:
- Masks are mandatory
- Cadets (with assistance from their parents) must monitor their health through a simple checklist and NOT attend if they are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms
- Proper hand hygiene will be required – cadets must wash their hands and hand sanitizer stations will be provided
- Extra cleaning protocols
- Physical distancing will be maintained as often as possible
- No visitors during training
- Posted signs and directional arrows must be followed
- We will maintain Alberta Health Service directives on gathering sizes
- No overnight training/activities – but we will keep busy with other fun and exciting events
Additionally, we want to ensure that our program is safe AND inclusive for all, so if there are cadets who choose not to attend in person, we will have virtual training available. If this is something your family is interested in, please let me know!
