WELCOME NEW AND RETURNING CADET PARENTS TO OUR 2025-2026 PROGRAM YEAR!
We have fresh new face on the Branch this year. I would like to welcome Angela Sharp (Director at large)! If you have not yet – you will get a chance to meet all of us at the parent meeting happening later in September.
PLEASE NOTE: The Navy League program is urgently looking for adult volunteers. The more volunteers they have, the more cadets and opportunities they can welcome into their program. No previous cadet/officer experience needed. If you’re passionate about helping young people succeed, consider joining us as a volunteer. The branch also welcomes additional help to serve on various fundraising committee’s or to help with accounting, screening, website management, etc. If you are interested, please contact Jen Geddes via the Contact Page.
As a Navy League and/or Sea Cadet parent, it is your responsibility is to keep updated. We send out multiple forms of communication to our parents, but at the end of the day – you must read them!
- The Commanding Officers and Branch President will be sending emails weekly (usually Monday). If you are not receiving them, please let us or them know to add you to the email communications list.

If there are ever any issues that the parents need to talk to someone about, please know that this is one of the main reasons that our branch exists.
Branch policy is to acknowledge phone calls and/or emails with a 24–48-hour period during a weekday. Please remember that we all volunteer our time and have full time jobs away from cadets, so delays happen but we do our utmost to minimize those.
Our Branch will be hosting a Parent Information Night. Attendance is required from at least one member of each family. We will go over the details of how our organization functions, take questions and hopefully get to know each other a bit more! Keep an eye on your email for more information regarding date, time, and location.
